Does anyone have any pricing info on the MOBEXCOM P25 mobile repeater?
Re: DVRS
We as a Federal Agency, paid almost $10,000 for one DVRS system, Futurecom out of Canada system, purchased through Motorola. The price was the same for the Simplex unit, which we have, as the true Duplex unit.
Re: DVRS
I'll 2nd the fact they are insano expensive!
It's really an above price book type item, at least pricing thru moto that is, so for an offical quote youll have to get your sales rep to provide it. You can also get a quote from Mobexcom directly, i think. There may be other solutions out there (a pyramid SVR + CDM mobile, etc).
However, it is the Cadillac of mobile repeaters, IMHO.
Be sure to have Mobex inform you up front on the filters required and minimum freq seperation. This is especially critical if you are planning an "in band" setup.
I can recall spending approx. $12K for a VHF to 800 cross band, (interfacing to an Astro Spectra W4).
