I have one of these radios I do not know how to use the cps software that great yet, as I am still learning I have wrote channels in this radio and am unable to use them the radio powers up and I see the channel for a second then the screen says ready mix or searching can anyone help me out and tell me what im doing wrong or missing here I'm sure I might be missing some info for you but just ask me and I'll let you know

how are you using this radio, simplex, repeater, trunked? you probablly just need to assign the channels you programmed to a zone, expand the very bottom section and bring up zone 1 and add your channels there.

I am using this radio simplex I have already assigned the channels to zone 1 everything is where it should be but the radio still says searching.

Sounds like the passport board is programmed. You'll need to look into the passport board and it's programming. Passport programming will override any standard conventional programming you have put into the radio.

Go into your conventional personality's 'advanced' tab. Uncheck 'option board feature' if it is checked, then program into the radio. Your problems will go away.
