Waris PTT

Post by bellersley »

Hey guys;

I'm trying to find a pinout of the HT1250 etc Universal Connector. Can anyone help out at all? I need the PTT pin, but can't seem to find it anywhere on the site.

Thanks!

Did you look here -

http://www.batlabs.com/htpro.html

If you look at the RKN4074 Programming/Test cable diagram link and the mating connector link under portables I see that pin 4 is PTT (ext mic). Looking at a speaker mic here pin 4 is used on the connector so that is a clue. The test cable gives you the pin numbers and the mating connector diagram tells you physically where these pins are. Note that the connector diagram is the opposite of the pinouts of what the radio has so don't get tripped up on that.

Don't forget to apply a ground to pin 6 of the accy connector - that's what enabes the external PTT on pin 5(option sel 2).
