I tried to search but I can't come up with anything. I seem to recall someone once posted some info about running a spectra without a head. I'm trying to find some info on this to see if it's possible to set up a 110 watt unit on one channel as a transmitter with no head needed.
DISREGARD, I FOUND IT
Headless spectra ? Is there any info here?

It is possible to run a Spectra without the control head.
First it needs to be an A5 or A7 radio.
Jump 22 to 20 on the DB25 connector.
No 15 pin connector needed if EMERG is disabled.
