Spectra uhf 100 watt

Hello operators.I have a question about this radio/It has a Hi-Lo buttton on the A9 remote head.The radio has 50 watts on low and 100 watts on high.I take it this is the button that controls the transmit power function.Or is it? If somebody can help,it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Pretty sure Hi/Lo is for the siren function.

Does it say Hi-Lo or H/L?
Hi-Lo on the DEK box would be for the siren (alternating hi/low tone), H/L on the control head would be Horn/Lights (blows horn/flashes lights when you get a call alert).

What I did was only using simplex channels! do the following:
where you program the freqs F5 hit F7 and you have a setting for TALKAROUND
Transmit Power set to Low
TalkAround Power set to High
Make sure to enable TALKAROUND on F5 where all the freqs are added
Now use the DIR button for HI/Low power setting
The way I have it set when pushed RED light means I'm using the HI Power
RED light off means Low Power
This will only work on Simplex freqs

By the way I'm using the Spectra R06.00.05 RSS under DOS
works great!

Hi all,

Does anyone know who to enable the RSSI feature on the Spectra
Low or Hi Power version radio, doesn't matter.

RSSI is used to measure signal strength by pushing a button and it give you a number value
