Rss and cps question.

Rss and cps question.

Just a question to throw out there. I have an astro saber with the old rss dos program and still use it for this radio and I also have the newer cps version which I have not used. If I only READ the radio and NOT WRITE to it with the newer cps software. Will I still be able use the older RSS program. I think it will still work with the rss version but want to be sure.

Yes, you can do it the way you describe. Furthermore, as long as you save the codeplug with the RSS, you can always use it to 'revert' the radio back to DOS RSS anyway.
