cloning on channel instead of all in mt1000's

Post by STEVENW »

I've read the instructions for cloning the mt1000 on batwing, but what I want to know and I could swear I've done this before, is: can't you clone one channel at the time instead of every channel in the radio? I know it mentions partial cloning in the instructions but i need someone to explain it to me in plain talk.

When you clone the radio it clones the entire codeplug, a complete clone copies tuning values as well. (Don't do the complete clone unless the tuning value of the target radio have gotten hosed and you're looking to get it to a starting point for a full alignment).
