Need help with 12V from Quantar

Post by Mraudio »

Is there a connection on the back of that Quantar that would be sufficient to run a ARR gasfet? I dont have the full station manual that breaks down all the pinouts on the back of the station. Any help appreciated, dosent work when the power goes off and the station stays on, but has no RX because the preamp is run off of an external supply not on the battery.

Connector #31, the left-most connector when looking at the rear of the station, is a 10-pin Mate-N-Loc. Pins 1&10 are ground, pin 6 is +14.2V at 1A, pin 8 is +5V at 1A.

Also, the 50-pin TelCo connector (#17) has +14.2V on pin 33 and ground on pin 32. These are in parallel with the pins on connector #31, so the total current draw on both connectors can't exceed the ratings shown above.
