Is it possible to put 446-449mhz in a 450-470 Maratrac? I entered 446 and software said invalid entry. I seem to remembering shift nom, or is that for another radio?

Yep, the good 'ol shift key.
IE 446.0 would be entered as $$^.)))) (remember to fill in those zeros)
I've had to re-tune a few MaxTracs that wouldn't lock as well on the ham band. Power would usually be erratic, and on one the VCO would not lock. But the majority of them will work 70cm without complaint.

The shift key method would not work for me. I hex edited the software and programmed right up. My Maratrac works great on 70cm.
