Correct Cable for AXV5100

Post by PHD-2 »

Soon I'll need to program an AXV5100. From the cable diagrams here I can't quite tell what I'll need. There are clues that this can be done RIB-less with a Radius style cable. I can't, however, find a definitive diagram or confirmation it's the same as any particular radio.

Can someone confirm the cable type/pinouts for me?

Also, I need to know which version of CPS I'll need to get to program these dudes. Anyone happen to know that? I haven't dug much there yet, working on the cable first.

Thanks.

If this helps this AXV5100 appears to be a sibling to the CP125, the VL130 and the Bearcom BC-120. These appear to be essentially equivalent. A RIB-less solution would be cool if it's possible for this radio, but I'm not sure thats the case yet.

Clues appreciated.
