I've dealt with several Jedi (MT2000's, MTS2000s, and HT1000's) radios and all of which have had the unwanted beeping noises that all of the sudden start beeping rapidly. It seems if you punch the radio hard enough, it'll stop.

Thanks, I figured that was the underlying problem. However, the case/flex is brand new (refurb'd about two years ago). I'm thinking it's the flex cable that attached to the actual radio.
