Sys Saber Scanlists, Impress Batteries, SVA Questions

Post by Batman »

How many channels per scanlist will a sys saber scan? there is presently 15 channels and i'd like to add one more.

how to i program scan lists into the sys saber? I found 2 menu's but neither seems to allow the addition or removal of scanlist channels.

what would i gain by going from nicad and rapid desk charger to impress and are impress stuff compatable with the saber vehicle adapter?

How about impress charger and NimH?

are nimh batt's compatable with the SVA and NTN-4734A?

I'm looking to extend battery life on the saber.
Thank You,

Robert

The Impres saber battery is a nicad as well, it's just a smart battery that when paired with an Impres charger 100% will get you a full 24 month warranty on capacity which is 80% of the rated capacity. That means if the current rating is 2000mah you'll be guaranteed to have 1600mah two years from now as long as you don't charge it in a non-impres charger.

I've had my charger and two batteries for almost two months and could not be happier with it, will likely buy some extras before fall. I got home an hour ago and even though I only used my battery for 14 hours, I dropped it in the charger and I see it blinking green so it's already past a 90% charge. I can leave it there for an hour or a few days without fear of messing up the battery either, really great for keeping a spare battery fully topped off and ready to go.

The Impres charger is a tr-chem charger so you can charge NimH as well as nicads and li-ions. You can also charge Jedi and XTS batteries (3000, 3500, 5000, not sure on the smaller XTSs).

Escomm by far on new batteries, you might get lucky and get a good deal on a charger on ebay.
