Astro Saber battery contacts

Post by ScannerDan »

I have a agency issued Astro Saber utilizing Alexander Technologies Mdl# H8251 aftermarket batteries. Every time that my Saber is in my radio holder it seems to lose contact and reset it;s self. I recall seeing or hearing of an updated battery bottom plate and contacts for the Astro Saber radio. I was wondering if anyone knows the part number or if they have one available.

Thanks

Dan..

Over time the contacts loose some of their tension. Check the contact tension and the salistic spacer under the contact.
Sometimes just bending the contact back to original shape works well.
