Convert UHF Desktrac to Ham

Post by gager041 »

I have aquired a Desktrac model L44SUM700BT, the Band split is 449 to 470, Is it possible to get this unit down to the 444 mhz for the TX, and if so, How?

Thanks,

The shift-key method in the RSS. (see the main batlabs.com page under model specific>maxtrac) Most Maxtracs will take fine but some may need re-tuning of the VCO to work properly, but this is rare.

Have tried the shift key method, all I get is 0.0000 in the RSS, I am using the Desktrac RSS, Not Maxtrac RSS. Is there a difference?
