HT1550-XLS NOT TURNING ON

Hello the problem is I turn on my ht1550 no display or tones but the transmit busy light flashes green. If left that way the radio eventually turns on and works fine. If you turn it off the on I have to wait again. The only way to stop the flash light is to remove the battery. The on/off switch doesn't stop it from flashing..Any Ideas!! f/w is 05.08.03. after it's up and running does it work like normal? does it get hot or go thru batteries fast?

I works fine. No it doesn't get hot and the battery last normal time.

if it's still under warranty i'd send that in
