M1225 ignition sense not cut... still not working

Post by firefighter2000 »

I checked and the ignition sense on an M1225 Im trying to program is not cut... and the radio will still not come on. Another working M1225 works fine and this one worked fine when removed from the last vehicle. Is there maybe something Im missing? I've searched several other threads and I cant find anything else.
Thanks

Craig, The fuse is probably blown. Someone probably put 12 volts to the ignition pin and blew the fuse. The fuse did its job. Install the ignition cable and see if it turns on. If it turns on remove the fuse and or replace it with a good one.

Would I be able to temporarily put power to the ign. pin and test to see if it works? Or how do I do that? The fuse looks to be soldierd in. Is this something for a professional or me?
Thanks

Put 12+ to pin #10 on the accessory connector. If the fuse is blown it will power up
