That's almost insanely cool. I wonder what the size specs are? It would be beyond awesome if it did more than one radio, also... Of course; I won't even ask the most important question $. Availablility?

It has a lot of stuff on it - unless it supports multiple bands as well I don't see it being something that everyone is going to use since it will probably take up too much space.

Also, other people have mentioned on other forums that it is only compatible with older relay switched systems, none of the serial control equipment that a lot of manufactures are going to.

I haven't seen one (physically) yet - but you notice that they STILL PUT THE MIC CONNECTOR ON THE FRONT OF THE DAMN THING!!!!

OK... I want to know how to interface one of those to a pair of legacy Spectras!

I would also venture a guess that the thing will be offered with various build-in kits to either replace the AM/FM radio in a car's dash, or take up a gap in the dash.

Keep the peace(es).

Reminded me of the old GE 825 CHP head with a siren deck. It is big and if they can get it to fit into a dash...good luck. We were told maybe 2010 in production... I was only doing a usability test so specifics if it can control serial equipment etc were not given to us. I liked the display for a quick read while in route to calls etc

With the way cars are being made today, come 2010, or whenever that becomes available, that WILL be about the size of the dashboards on most new cars :(
