Spectra Issue

Hello i have A VHF Dual head A9 spectra in one of the ambulances that i take care of. The problem is that when someone is talking on the mic in the rear of the ambulance it will start unkeying and keying back up cuting out there transmission also resending out the mdc1200 ID. I was told this may be a software fix poss something with the time out timer. I could not find nothing on here anyone have any ideas?

Is it a hand mic or a phone style? We had that issue and changed the mic to a hand mic

Its a hand mic i have tried changing mics and the head its self.
