does anyone know if you can use sys 9000 dek HLN1241C alone with the siren sys 9000 box

You can NOT. Must have a radio hooked up to it.

There is a Siren/PA version for the MaraTrac that will work stand alone. It uses a control box that looks like a S9000 DEK, but its not and requires special cabling. It is based on the Systems 9000 Siren/PA, but many internal parts are different (like the processor programming, processor clock speed, etc.). You will need the MaraTrac Siren/PA manual to sort out the required parts for the correct configuration.
