I have a ht1250 after normal use, all of a sudden, when turned on, display shows: eerprm hw error
I tried to re-write the radio w/ a saved codeplug, remove the battery, try another battery---all no luck.
Model: AAH25KDF9AA5AN
Any ideas on how to resolve w/o sending in to shop?
Thanks

Re: ht1250 eeprm hw error
That error means there is a codeplug structure mismatch or non existence of a codeplug. So the service manual says. Reprogram codeplug with correct version and re-test radio...
Unless someone has another way, I don't use these models. Someone sent me the Basic service manual in.pdf if needed? Jim

I just wanted to add that when I do try to either read or write the saved codeplug for this unit, the initial message that comes up says:
Size of RNA region must be at least 3 bytes
After than, it goes thru the verify codeplug....message then just quite after the radio make a quick error beep
Thanks
