GP680 to GP380 and the and the reverse

Post by BuRn »

Hi there guys,

Now, I have a couple of handies, GP680's flashed with GP380 codeplugs.

Details are:
Type: PW502H
Tanapa: PMUE1437A
Model: MDH25RDH9CK6AE

Those handies were flashed with GP380 codeplugs, and I have a couple of questions I need help, if possible.

I think I'll try to revert them to their original codeplug, GP680 codeplugs. How can I do this? Do I have to use a RIB cable & Box or just a RIBless Serial cable attached to a Serial to USB adaptor would do the trick? In general; what do I have to do?

And, is there any literature or guides on how to set up SelCall (Select-V) ? I mean, I dont know to much about Selective Calls using tones, just the basics.

Any help would be really appreciated .

Thanks in advance
