IIRC, one of the board members here had developed a tone decoding program for installation on a PC. He was distributing free beta versions of the basic program during the year or so he was perfecting it. It turned into a long and very popular thread up until a couple of years ago when it faded away.
If anyone here recalls what I'm talking about could you please link me to that topic? I'm apparently not coming up with the correct keywords for board search... I've looked for nearly an hour total, off and on, this morning.
