HT1000 Programming cable

Post by artman »

Hello, I am trying to make my own programming cable for the HT1000 series radio and I have a couple of questions. First, can I make one out of a spare mic cable? Second, how do you remove the contact pins and reinsert to the proper location? Thank you in advance and I am sorry if this has been covered already I read the first two pages from the search function and this was not covered.

Yes, you have to relocate the pogo pins. They are soldered into the circuit board inside the speaker/mic connector.
