Hi all!
I am looking for any software-based method to force GM160 and GM360 to transmit automatically short conversations (10..30 sec pause + 1..3 sec conversation, looped). I.e. make them beacons! Conversations can be blank (just carrier) or modulated with anything (single tone/2tone/5tone, MDC1200, DTMF & etc. - exact modulation type isn't critical).
I don't want use any kind of external controllers via ACC connector. I am looking for software-based method.
Any ideas?

All works fine on GM360, but GM160 'a little' different.Sergio MD wrote:GM360:

Exactly, I have no ideas how to increase pause between MDC transmissions when radio in Emergency mode (it transmits MDC messages practically without pause). But I want to transmit for e.g. in 30 sec pause + 2 sec carrier cycle.
I tried changing many parameters in "Signaling Configuration" and in "MDC System - 1", but no luck :(
And I didn't find any way to force it make single tone beeps (like is in GM360) instead of MDC1200.
Please help!
