Motorola Systems Saber 403-433 serial number change. HELP!!!

Post by rfcoverage »

We have a bunch of Motorola Systems Saber 1s & 3s that had defective logic boards which were swapped out. The logic boards have the original factory serial number stored on them. We want to reprogram the replaced boards (all con-6) with the original serial number that matches the tags on the back of the radio as per our clients service agreement specifies.

Motorola did this for us at the Fed Repair Depot. However, they no longer support the aging radios & do not object to us having this done. The Logic boards were available new with the availability to program in the serial number one time.

If you can help us, we would be very interested in hearing from you. Thanks, Carrie Halsey, Customer Care. [email protected]

Do you have saved codeplugs from before the board swapout?
