QUESTION : Will a MAXTRAC do PA ?

Hi All ,
will a VHF , 16ch , MAXTRAC do P.A. ? where I talk on the mic and it will come out a pa speaker ?

if not , will any other motorola mobile radio do P.A. ?

You may be able to configure some sort of PA mode using a 16pin accessory connector radio, however the MaxTrac does not contain enough of an audio amplifier to drive any decent-level PA speaker, so it's somewhat pointless.

A MaraTrac or Spectra with the PA/Siren option is probably more suited to the task.

YES There is a PA/EXT speaker option box that provided the functions. You may need an amplified speaker for applications in high noise environments.
