Vehicular Battery Eliminator for PMNN4063

Post by Jim1348 »

I seem to recall a few years back when I had an HT1000 there was a vehicular battery eliminator. Does anybody recall if these are still available for Motorola radios? (Not the travel charger.) I am interested in something like this for the PMNN4063

Are you refering to one of these ?

I have a genuine Motorola eliminator like this for the JEDI series radios. I'll dig it out and get the p/n if this is what you're looking for.

I had assumed that was a JEDI battery before I looked it up, but it's not. The p/n on my eliminator won't do you any good then.

I checked MOL and there don't seem to be any OEM eliminators made for the AU, AX etc. series of onsite business radios. Maybe you'll get lucky and find an aftermarket eliminator somewhere.

Good luck Jim.

It might help if you mentioned what radio you want the eliminator for, as opposed to what battery.

I see that the battery you mention fits, among other radios, a CP125. I'd be very surprised if there was an OEM battery eliminator solution for what is an entry level unlicensed commercial radio. You can see if someone makes an aftermarket solution for your specific radio.

Vehicular Battery Eliminator for PMNN4063

I have both a VHF and UHF Motorola GP2000 transceiver that I use for amateur radio. The only battery eliminator I have been able to find is from Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0302993276 While I am a little bit reluctant to buy it from Hong Kong since I am in the US, it is the only one I have been able to locate so far.

Yeah, unfortunately that's probably the only place you're going to find this item.
