Help getting maratrac on 6m

Post by rcfire76 »

Got a 42-50mhz Maratrac and wanting to hex edit the software to program it for 6m. I have never hex edited before, and I dont want to mess anything up.

I have hex workshop, and I have the information from both batlabs and repeater builder, but I cant find the lines to edit.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks

Make sure Hex Workshop's Byte Order is set to Little Endian (Intel) so it matches the on-line documentation.

The hex values are one word each (two bytes or 16 bits). Set Hex Workshop to display the data two bytes (1 Word) at a time.

If you're using an older version than what has been described on-line, then you may have to search for the 1 word values and change the ones that are hopefully near the area they're shown on-line.
