Ham Question

I am interested in using a to be determined Motorola mobile for ham radio VHF/2M. Does this make sense? If so, will a Spectra work? Thanks.

Yes, a Spectra VHF works well in the ham bands. I have the mid power VHF running 60 watts in my truck and use it every day.

Ditto - I have an Astro Spectra programmed to the ham bands and do both analog and APCO25 digital daily.
