Hey folks,
I programmed up my 900 MHz Spectra with some autodial phone numbers. However, when I go to use them, I hear the tones come out the speaker, but no tones are transmitted (dead air).
I checked the DTMF deviation in the service menu (and even turned up to max), but no luck. Is there another place I'm missing?
I'm stuck with an A5 head, so I can't try keypad dial.

How is the voice deviation?

Voice deviation is fine. It's a daily talker for me. Nobody has complained about it.
Re: Spectra DTMF on Phone Inaudible
I'd be interested in seeing the solution to this - I have an A7 Spectra UHF that has barely audible DTMF and MDC audio, but Mic audio is fine. I've tried realigning it and everything with no success.
Re: Spectra DTMF on Phone Inaudible
Voice and PL or DPL good but DTMF, MDC and single tone very low or none. We have seen similar problems in the modulation on Spectras.
Not one quick fix that I could give you, several areas can cause this.

Care to list a couple of places to check?
