Centracom II+ Headset jack

Post by wb4bli »

Do any of you know where I need to plug the actual jack into the OP position? Is it on the exact same board that the deskmic hooks into?

Plugs onto the RCP (Radio Control Panel) which is the main board that everything else plugs into. Should be two 8-pin headers there arranged in two rows of four each that the jack box plugs into. You can put two jack boxes on 1 RCP.

Unless this is a compact op we're talking about, then I think you need RJ45-type jack boxes for those.

The rackmount "full size" OP's require the jack boxes with the ribbon cables (as do Series II+ CRT, Gold Classic CRT and Gold Elite.)
