LISTENING TO FIRE DEPT

Hello everyone,
Is there any other sites out there like firefeeds i can hook a scanner to and listen to my dept via the internet?
i cannont recieve them from home w/ just a scanner.

Many FDs transmit their dispatch channel via the internet. You have to do
a Google search to find them. This would apply almost exclusively to large
cities such as New York, Washington, etc. etc.

Your scanner is not used for this. Your computer's sound card is used.

If your local FD is transmitting a digital signal you could listen to them if you
got a scanner that is equipped for digital monitoring.
