That number is NG for the "unwashed masses". They want a business account or you get sent
over to the Cell Phone robot.

I guess Moto has changed. several years ago I could order stuff with no problem. Even get RSS
manuals (w/o the software).

Progess, it's wonderful.

'Tis a pity, a nice 10 Meter Maratrac gets relegated to the "Organ Donor" box.

There's any number of people here on the board who could help you getting those parts.

Yes you will have to set up an account with them if you want to buy parts.

Or as Peter pointed out several of us on the board could order them for you. Escomm gets my recommendation.

You can also order most parts through www.myradiomall.com, including manuals that Motorola WON'T sell you (I'll leave the three-letter acronym out lest it trigger a warning). If you don't have the part numbers, you can wade your way through to Moto's Parts ID group and get current information. Then take those numbers to MyRadioMall and enter them to see if they're available and get their price.

Or find someone who will order them from Motorola for you. Some people (like myself) have a retail account; we get to pay the MSRP. Others (like radio shops) have a business/discount account; they get to pay about 60% of the MSRP. Often you can get items at the discount price without incurring a mark-up, especially if the shop is ham-friendly (not all are).
