Hi all
I have a problem with talkgroup scanning on conventional. If i set my RX Unmute rule to "Digital CSQ" i can scan a set of freq's no problem it stops on what ever it finds which is ok, however i am trying to set it up so it will only stop on a particular TGID i have set the correct TGID's in the astro talkgroup list, and set the RX Unmute rule to selective squelch but its not recieving anything. Is there anything i am missing. BTW this is a P25 system.

Re: XTS3000 Talkgroup Scan
I sort of have it working. what happens now is it will lock on the appropiate channel and mute and unmute every seccond so the audio sounds broken, anybody have some idea what is the likely cause of this
Thanks

Re: XTS3000 Talkgroup Scan
anyone?
what i have noticed is that when i select the all talkgroup 65535 it will scan the channels and stop on what ever is transmitting and the audio is good, however when i select a particular talkgroup ie 10000 it will scan and stop on the channel that has a transmission from users of that group but the audio mutes and unmutes every seccond or so. This also happens if im not scanning and just sitting on one frequency. I have mucked around with all sorts of setting ie, scan time, talkgroup hang time and same result all the time. is there something i have missed ?
any help solving this will be muchly appreciated,

Re: XTS3000 Talkgroup Scan
Just a stab in the dark could this be an issue in the firmware. i have host ver 7.09.02 and i noticed that ver 7.12.00 and onwards addresses a re affiliation issue in talkgroup scan, not that my radio is affiliating with anything as its just scanning conventional rx personalities, but i thought i would throw it out there.
