Hello,
Anybody happen to have a copy of the user manual for the Zetron CE-1000 rackmounted tone encoder module that they wouldnt mind either sending us thru email or thru "snail-mail"?
We need to know how to hook it into our repeater system in our rack and how to set up the programming for the tones.
We just got this encoder off of Ebay and as everybody that deals on Ebay knows ... hardly never any manuals that come with the items. :-S
Thanks

Re: Zetron Tone Encoder CE-1000R
Hello,
Any user manuals on this Zetron CE-1000R found yet?
We have contacted Zetron and they say that they no longer support that model and have no means of retreiving the user manual/operating instructions for it so we are now hoping that someone that still uses this unit or has used this unit and still has the manual for it.

Don't you just love the new tech support people at Zetron. Since they had a new management some
time back, unless it's almost current, the hopes of getting any type of old info from them is about zilch.
The company has taken the stand that us older people with older equipment from Zetron don't exist
any more. Kind of like what Motorola is doing. Make the equipment obsolete so the customer has
to buy new products to stay operational. They must be taking lessons from the same teacher.
By the way, for what it's worth, Motorola's stock got down rated on Friday to junk status. Some
how that doesn't come as a surprise.

If you haven't already, try checking with Andy Brinkley on here or www.brinkleyelectronics.com. Andy seems to have a pretty good library of older manuals, and he may be able to help.
