PR400 programming cable

Post by kf4sqb »

After doing a search here, I think I have an answer to this question, but I want conformation. Is the programming cable for the PR400 the same as the cable for the CP150/200? I'm not interested in doing anything but programming. Thanks!

YES, PR400 portables use the same programming cable as CP150 & CP200 Motorola p/n AAPMKN4004 (rib required). Aftermarket brand cables may have rib built in. They are the same series of radio and also use RVN4191 Commercial series CPS.

Same cable for RIB programming. I can't say for ribless or usb, if there is such a thing, because I only us a RIB for them.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know! 8) I tend to use a RIB, not RIBless cables, here, too.
