M1225 Model Number Decoding

Post by Brandon314159 »

Hey all,

Been paroozing the forums and the main site looking for info for decoding this pile of Radius M1225 radio model numbers but I keep getting half way decoded then realize the number I have on the radio isn't an option in the list of possibilities. Perhaps I am just tired, or Murphy is playing games. I also have some Radius CM200's that I seem to be running up the same creek with.

Example:
M1225:
M43DGC90E2AA

CM200:
AAM50KQC9AA1AN

Thanks from a beginner :)

It's that whole teach a man to fish metaphor, right? Haha

M43DGD90E2AA: 150-174 Mhz, 4 channel, 25-40W, 12.5/25 Khz
AAM50KQC9AA1: 146-174 Mhz, feature level=4/32 mini-U, 25-45W, 12.5/25 Khz.
The above is from the model charts at the front of the respective service manuals.

I will start digging for the service manuals...I think I have at least the CM200 floating around.

Ended up doing more google searching and found close enough model numbers to figure it out.

I like the main batlab page with radio serial number decoding, although it looks like it is missing a little info here and there.

Thanks!

Looks like no in-house manuals for these guys. :(

Is there a good online resource or a batlabs section that has model info/whatnot about these units?

Thanks.
