Does anyone know where I can locate a diagram of a Battery Eliminator for P110. I would like to see about building my own from an old battery case.

Well, lets' see. The radio requires 7.5 volts at about 1.9 amp transmit, 7.5 volts at .050 A receive.
Easy way is to use a thee terminal regulator IC similar to a LM317 (1.5A), or LM350TG (3A),
that use two added resistors to get 7.5 volts.
The regulator needs a input and output bypass capacitor, a heatsink, and a fuse is a good idea too.
These can be mounted in the battery case.

Great --- thanks Will I found a sample circuits on the web. For LM350TG R1 should be 240 ohms and R2 can be a variable pot at about 50K. Once I set the output to 7.5 volts under load I can measure R2 and replace with a fixed resistor. Should be a very simple and cheap (LM350T and 350TG cost under $1.50) project .. Thanks Again Dan

If the radio will be used with the antenna on top, there will be lots of RF floating around to be picked up by the DC cable. Make sure you take steps to keep RF out of the voltage regulator (chokes, bypass caps, etc).

You can buy one already made up. They are not too much money. There was someone selling genuine Motorola brand ones for under $20.00 on eBay. By the time you order voltage regulator, resistors, lighter plug, + shipping charges, you will be damn close to that anyway.
