HT600 H43 cloning

Post by brian1911 »

I have cloned 3 out of 7 of these successfully so far. The 4 that did not clone right ended up with a constant beep tone when the power is on, regardless of channel. The tone goes away with the radio keyed up, but the beep returns afterwards.

As a very naive amateur, can someone tell me what is wrong with these radios? How do I get rid of the constant beep tone?

!st place to look would be to see if the radio beeping is the same bandsplit as the others. H43 could be 136-151, 146-162 or 157-174 The beeping is typical of a radio programmed with out of range frequencies but could also be a codeplug error or a fried synthesizer..
