Looking for some help here. I'm trying to build a bi-directional repeater using a vhf M1225 and a uhf GM300.
I have the GM300 plugged into the RX side of the rick and the M1225 on the TX side. I can get it to take the RX audio from the GM300 and repeat it through the M1225 no problem but not the other way. When the M1225 receives a signal the RICK causes it to TX. So when the M1225 is receiving it goes nuts.
I have been all through the book supplied with the RICK and seeing as how it has no info on either radio I'm in the dark.

Re: RICK Help Needed
Actually, the R.I.C.K. book does include dip switch settings for bi-directional repeat. You need to make sure the the mobiles have TOR programmed to output on the correct pins. If you need, I can write down a step-by-step.... I do this frequently...
Jon
Edited to add it anyway....
S2-1 On
S2-2 On
S2-3 Off
S2-4 Off
S2-5 Off
S2-6 On
S2-7 I forget what it does...
S2-8 On
S2-9 Off
S2-10 On
S2-11 On
S2-12 Forget this one too...
The definitions for all the switches are in the RICK book.
Receive Radio uses pin 14 for TOR, Transmit Radio uses pin 8 for TOR....
Make sure that TOR polarity is correct.
Remember that audio level settings in these guys is critical to proper operation. 2 service monitors and 5 minutes to make it right....

Got it working thanks!
What I meant by no info on the radio was it has specific info on settings for the M100 M200 and M400 only.
