Anyone have JEDEC part number references to the motorola part numbers? I'm looking for data on M9701 PNP transistors used in the power control circuit of MICOR's.
Thanks

Re: Semiconductor Crosss references
Sounds like you have a suitable substitute now, however, if you are looking for a directory to tell you a JEDEC part number for all older Motorola semiconductors, it doesn't exist. The M- series (as well as several other prefixes) were custom made semiconductors by Motorola themselves for their own use. These "house marked" Motorola transistors are a vexation when it comes time to servicing older gear with no support from the manufacturer.
That being said, there are many close substitutes which work just fine (or sometimes better.) These are usually found in the NTE, SK and ECG substitution books, or the rather pricey D.A.T.A. guides. But bear in mind that these substitutions are not from Motorola but rather customer input and analysis by third parties.
Motorola did print some substitutes in their old "HEP" semiconductor guides, but the list wasn't all-inclusive.
