This is probably a silly question, but im a programming n00b......

Does anyone have experience (that they are willing to share) editing the hex on a 2ch HT1000 to make it programmable for 16ch?

read the batlabs section on it, that's going to be the simplest alteration you will ever make on a radio

I FINALLY got my CF25 and power cord in the mail.........i spent more time reading up on how to DO the mod to ake the HT1K from 2 to 16 channels than i actualy spent DOING it. WILD! Thanks for the help ddues!

Did you try removing the tab under the channel knob, and adding modes in the mode utility section of your RSS. It's been some time since i expanded mine to 16 channels.
