ASTRO 25 CPS and MT1500?

Post by fire2967 »

Can somebody with more knowledge than Mot Online reps help answer a question? We are ordering some new MT1500's for conventional use only. We already have the latest release (12) of ASTRO 25 CPS and a RKN4105A USB cable for our XTS2500's. Will these work to program the MT1500's? Our dealer is trying to sell us RVN4181 CPS for PR/MT 1500. I don't want to buy this software if ASTRO 25 will do it. Thanks in advance.

What radios do you own?: APX

RVN4181AD R12.00.00 CPS for Astro 25 Portables will program the PR1500, MT1500, XTS1500, XTS2500, XTS4000, XTS5000, and SSE5000..

If you already have Astro 25 Portable CPS R12.00.00, you won't have a problem programming your new MT1500's..

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

you need to find another dealer that's honest, it's against the law for your dealer to sell you that software
