MCS2000 programming

Hello, I have a vhf and uhf MCS2000 flashport model 2 head Im trying to program. I tried mts2000 cps and it tried to read it and said unsupported model it did say on the radio programming so i think it was definately trying. I also tried mcs2000 dos version and it said protocol error. Is this the right Rss's or do i need a newer version of the mts2000 mts. i'm using version 2.2. on the mts2000 cps .Any help is appreciated Thank You

If you are trying to read an MCS with MTS CPS, then yes, you will receive errors.

The MCS requires it's own CPS.

Ok is it dos based or is it a cps

There are both a DOS version and a Windows CPS version. It's been quite a while since the Windows one came out so odds are that's the one the radio was programmed with, and I think if the radio was programmed with the Windows version you won't be able to read it with the DOS version... can't say I've ever tried it though, so don't hold me to that. 8)
