I just got our MTS200's back from Motorola and the MDC1200 signaling works like it should the QCII is not listed when reading the radio. I was under the impression that they could be flash with BOTH MDC1200 AND QCII. The tech told me that I would have to talk to tech support on Monday to fix the issue and that I would have to repay to have then re flashed. I don't agree with this as it was on my work ticket that they should have both.
Suggestions as to if they can be flashed with both MDC1200 and QCII?

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..
CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

I will have to read them when I get back to the office. My question was though can they have both? I was under the impression that talking with the tech at Motorola that they could be flashed for MDC1200 AND QCII.

Sure they can have both... You can even throw in GE Star signaling to the mix, and have all three along with singletone if you want... Not a problem...
