Command Star Lite with CDM setup

Post by mtr12222 »

I am trying add a channel to a CommandStar Lite console using a CDM radio. I would like to use a Dual Channel display control module an in addition I need an aux. control module. Now here come the questions...I would also like to use a desktop remote to control this tx from a remote location that would be connected by a leased audio quality circuit. I'm thinking of using a zetron 250 tone remote interface and a MC2000 desktop remote. What am I missing in interfacing this equipment? Does the zetron sound like a good idea or should I be looking at a motorola product? Do you think I should be using the motorola remote or possibly a zetron product?

Thanks for the help.

I'm not 100% on how to make all of the features you would like to add to the CommandStar work.

If you are only using 1 channel then a CPI tone remote adapter and the MC2k should do you on the additional ops.

CoM
If the lights are out when you leave the station and then come on the second you key up, you know you have enough power.
