Motorola VRS750

Post by Josh »

I have a VRS750 unit, and according to the Astro25 mobile CPS, VRS power settings are changed in the tuner program.... I want to make high power 1 watt instead of two.

I see absolutely NOTHING in the Astro tuner for the VRS unit, so I am going to take a guess that something needs to be connected to the 12 pin connector on the front (where if it were an MCS2000 a remote head cable would be placed).

Does anyone have a service manual in pdf format they could forward or other handy advice?

The VRS750 is aligned with the professional series global tuner software, and a cable that connects to front 18 pin connector (where the MCS head would normally go). The programming cable part number is : 3085031D01

Probably won't need the cable, I can easily mod a CDM rear programming/service connector.

I found the service manual on the FCC ID when I searched the FCC ID, good source for free manuals, although beta. The pinouts for the cable was there, so I'm good to go.
