Hello everyone,
Im kind of new to the programming area. I'm having issues with getting my M4's to program. I'm using the windows version of the M4PPS and the M3/Director 3 programmer. I read all pagers fine. Now everytime that I write a M3/M4 pager I get "Serial Communication - Data Transmission Error!" message. If I remove the pager and re-read it the new information is saved. The current pager Im working with is codeplug: 10.106 , firmware: 9.40
My software is the original version as I never got an update. I have tried to find updates but the search came up negative. I also browsed most of this board and started to go blind doing it. Im sure someone can help so if you could.....
Thanks,
-Steve

#1 - Works fine, all tones activate as should. Codeplug: 10.114 / firmware: 9.40
#2 - Writes fine, receives nothing, no tones, no monitor. Codeplug 10.106 / firmware: 9.40
#3 - Works fine, all tones activate as should. Codeplug: 10.009 / firmware: 9.40

Check pager #2 for bad solder joints, check all pagers for dirty contacts (or maybe your computer is too fast).LED138 wrote:Ok, so Im going nuts with this.. I have 3 pagers currently. All have the aformentioned error message after writing.
