Minitor V Programming/Modification

Post by rmiles »

If I've posting this in the wrong forum, fell free to move it.

Using Minitor V PPS ver 1.4.0, is there a way to modify a single channel pager to become a two channel pager, similar to what can be done with the Minitor III/IV PPS using the engineering tools feature? If not, how does one go about turning a one channel Minitor V into two channel model?

Password is the same as the M4... you have to add the menu items back in using Visual Studio or a similar development tool.

Wouldn’t that require the source code? If there is a way to restore those functions without the source code, perhaps we could have a short discussion about it?

Nope... no source code required. I can do it, just haven't had the time to write something up. These days, it takes a fire pager, money, or wimmins to get me motivated... and I have too many calls and enough wimmins already. 8)

I'll see if I can bash something out in the near future.

Minitor V Programming/Modification

Post by coling223 »

Hey guys, I just got a minitor V to replace the old minitor III... It worked fine until i put a third tone set in it, and now after about 10 seconds of being fine after it is turned on, it goes right to monitor (like someone is holding down the reset button), i've tried re-writing the codeplug to it but to no avail, can anyone help me out here? I'd be happy to supply any specifics you may need for a DX.
Thanks,
Colin G.
