CDM Firmware

Post by ski7669 »

I currently have a CDM1550 with version 5.08.02 (which is the latest) on it. It has been to Depot 3 Times because it keeps getting corrupt. Plus on top of that, this version of firmware broke a few things in MDC!!! I currently have an EEPRM CS ERROR that I cannot get a good codeplug to write because 6.10.02 needs to read the current codeplug before it writes.... If i had older firmware, I could just write it with CPS 6.05.xx I could go on all day!!

Anyway, my question is.. Can you "Downgrade" the firmware to say like 5.05?? That is what I used to have before DEPOT screwed this thing up, and it hasn't worked since!!

Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks!!

You could use the inofficial lab flashgrade kit (Cannot be asked for here) to load older firmware, but you would have to save your tuning info first, and have a modified tuner to reset your serial number.
